Pre-Kindergarten at Saint Ann

After an absence of twenty years, a Catholic school education is once again available at St. Ann.

In January 2007, Visitation Catholic School opened a new Pre-Kindergarten classroom at St. Ann parish in addition to our continuing Pre-K program at our main campus.

This new classroom draws on our experience and continues to uphold the values and beliefs of the VCS Pre-Kindergarten program.

The social, emotional, spiritual, and academic components of our program come together to create a well-rounded educational experience for your child. By encompassing whole-child learning, our core curriculum stresses the goal of successful preparation and transition into a Kindergarten classroom.

Attendance at St. Ann Pre-Kindergarten will be a year filled with positive growth and development that will give your child the ability to move forward into their continuing educational experiences with self-esteem, confidence, maturity, and academic readiness.

The VCS Pre-Kindergarten Program

Our Pre-Kindergarten Program accepts 3 and 4 year-old children. Both full-day and half-day options are available.

This will be your child's first experience in school. The first step is the most important - give your child something special. Come join us and become part of our family, where love and caring for your children are always our primary focus.

Our program provides children with a strong social, emotional, spiritual, and academic foundation for their education, all for about what you'd spend on daycare.

• Accepting 3 and 4 year-old children.
• Full-day and half-day options available.
• Tuition equal to average local child care costs.
• Certified teacher with background in early childhood and special education.
• Program emphasizes academic readiness, spiritual growth, development of fine and large motor skills, socialization, and language development.

There is no required uniform. Children should dress in comfortable play clothes.

Our Pre-Kindergarteners attend class Monday through Fridays. The class has a maximum of 18 students with one teacher and one teacher's assistant.

Full Day: Hours: 8:30AM to 2:45PM Annual Tuition: $5150* *

Half Day: Hours: 8:30AM to 11:30AM Annual Tuition: $2575*

* Pre-K tuition may be tax-deductible. Please consult your tax preparer.

** Parents of full-time students are eligible to do fundraising which can significantly lower out of pocket payments by as much as $600.00 per year. For information, please contact the principal.
